LS GIBSUN

Sunflower LS GIBSUN is a high-quality hybrid of the new generation, developed by Limagrain (LG Seeds) for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including southern regions. This early-maturing hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major diseases such as downy mildew (race A-G), fusarium, fusarium wilt, and rot, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. The Clearfield technology allows effective weed control, enhancing crop productivity.

The hybrid LS GIBSUN is characterized by high drought tolerance and yield potential, making it an optimal choice for regions with insufficient moisture. Plants reach a height of approximately 160-170 cm, have a vegetation period of 100-110 days, and demonstrate high oil content — around 53%, with a high level of oleic acid (90%), improving the quality of the obtained product. The recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and up to 55 thousand under limited moisture.

LS GIBSUN has balanced agronomic characteristics, including high initial growth energy, cold tolerance, and lodging resistance, which contribute to successful crop development and harvest. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150 thousand seeds and require storage at a temperature of +7-10°С and humidity not exceeding 7%. This hybrid is suitable for both traditional and modern cultivation technologies, ensuring a stable and high yield of oilseed crop with high oil content.
