Hybrid sunflower LG 5377 is an early-maturing variety with a vegetation period of 90 to 105 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. Plants reach an average height of about 155 cm, and the flower head diameter is approximately 15.9 cm. Seeds are black, with a 1000-seed weight of about 70 grams. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in western, central, and northern regions of Ukraine, where it demonstrates high stability and reliability under various climatic conditions. One of the key features of LG 5377 is its high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew (A-D), fusarium, phomopsis, and various types of rots — white, gray, dry, and black. Thanks to this, the hybrid maintains plant health and crop quality even under adverse phytosanitary conditions. Additionally, LG 5377 exhibits high drought and cold resistance, making it especially valuable for regions with variable climates and insufficient moisture. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential — up to 45 centners per hectare — as well as high oil content in seeds, ensuring economic efficiency of cultivation. The recommended planting density prior to harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in zones with sufficient moisture and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under conditions of insufficient moisture. These parameters promote optimal plant development and maximum utilization of the agroclimatic potential of the region.
