LG50639 SX sunflower is a mid-early hybrid developed using Express Sun technology, ensuring high performance and adaptability to various growing conditions. This hybrid is distinguished by its high drought tolerance and plasticity, allowing successful cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine, both under intensive and conventional technology. Plants reach an average height of about 171 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 18-18.2 cm. The thousand-seed mass is 65 grams, indicating good quality and yield potential.

LG50639 SX exhibits high resistance to various races of downy mildew (A-G), as well as tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, white mold of heads and stems, black mold, dry rot, and phomosis. This comprehensive protection makes the hybrid a reliable choice for farmers aiming for stable and high yields. The hybrid's yield potential is rated at 8-9 points, with oil content and stress tolerance also at a high level.

The recommended seeding rate depends on moisture conditions: under insufficient moisture, the optimal density is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare, and under sufficient moisture, it can reach up to 55 thousand plants per hectare. For weed control, the herbicide Express 75 WG is applied at a rate of up to 50 g/ha after germination, with the addition of the surfactant Trend 90. This comprehensive approach to cultivation allows for full potential of the hybrid to be realized and ensures a stable, high-quality yield.
