LG50549 SX

The LG50549 SX hybrid sunflower is a mid-early linoleic variety developed using the Express technology, intended for cultivation in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine as well as in steppe areas. Plants are medium-height, reaching an average height of about 162 cm, with a flower head diameter of approximately 16 cm and an average seed weight of 75 g per 1000 seeds. This hybrid exhibits high initial growth energy, promoting rapid development and successful adaptation during early vegetative stages.

LG50549 SX shows high resistance to thistle A-G, significantly reducing the risk of damage from this pest. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, phomosis, root and head white rot, anthracnose, and dry rot. Thanks to these characteristics, along with its high drought tolerance, the hybrid exhibits adaptability to various growing conditions, ensuring stable yield and oil content even under stressful climatic conditions.

Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: in areas with insufficient moisture, the optimal rate is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare, while in areas with adequate moisture, it can reach up to 55 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid’s yield potential is rated at 9 points, confirming its high productivity. Oil content in seeds is stable, making LG50549 SX a profitable choice for producers aiming to achieve high-quality, high-oil yield.
