Description Trader
Sunflower hybrid 'Trader' is a medium-early variety with a vegetation period of 111-115 days, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Plants reach a height of 150-175 cm, and the flower head diameter varies from 16 to 22 cm, providing good yield potential up to 4 tons per hectare. Seeds have high mass — about 65 g per thousand, and oil content reaches 48-52%, making this hybrid especially valuable for producing high-quality sunflower oil with high oleic acid levels.

Hybrid 'Trader' exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including verticillium wilt, sclerotinia, and phomopsis, as well as lodging and the parasite 'wolf' (resistance to groups A-E). Drought resistance is rated at 9 points, enabling successful cultivation under limited moisture conditions. Recommended plant density is 45-55 thousand per hectare, depending on soil conditions and moisture, promoting optimal growth and maximum yield.

To successfully cultivate sunflower 'Trader', agronomic norms must be followed, including selection of fertile, light soils and provision of adequate sunlight. Seeds are intended for sowing on prepared fields and require proper care during the vegetation period. High oleic acid content in the oil makes this hybrid highly sought after by farmers focused on producing quality sunflower oil and stable yields.
