Orchard Grass INTENSIVE

The Dutch Standard for Immaculate Lawns

When it comes to creating turf surfaces that must endure heavy traffic while maintaining aesthetic appeal, professionals turn to proven solutions. The 'Intensiv' variety from the Dutch breeding company Barenbrug Holland is a classic representative of the orchard grass family, firmly established in the premium lawn seed segment.

An Engineering Approach to Turf

Barenbrug Holland does not merely cultivate seeds; they engineer plant traits. The 'Intensiv' model is the result of years of selection focused on specific goals: creating a dense, wear-resistant cover. Unlike forage varieties, this strain is specifically optimized for ornamental and functional lawn use. Key advantages of this variety include:

• High recovery rate after mechanical damage.
• Superior resistance to intensive use, making it ideal for parks and sports fields.
• Adaptability to various soil types, a hallmark of the Barenbrug genetic line.

Where 'Intensiv' Reaches Its Potential

The name itself implies its purpose—this variety is designed for areas where standard lawn mixes would quickly degrade. Industry professionals value 'Intensiv' for its ability to form a thick, resilient sod that withstands active usage. It is the choice for those seeking a balance between aggressive growth and lawn aesthetics. Through the involvement of specialized structures like Barenbrug Uk and Barenbrug Holding B.V., the variety has undergone rigorous certification, ensuring performance stability in every batch.
