The "INTENSIVE" seed mix is a specially developed blend of turf grasses designed to create a dense and durable surface that withstands heavy foot traffic. It includes red fescue, meadow fescue, and perennial ryegrass, ensuring high density, rapid recovery after use, and excellent frost tolerance.
This mix is ideal for sports fields, parks, playgrounds, and any areas with high traffic. Due to its low maintenance requirements and high resistance to wear, it has become a popular choice among gardeners and owners of large properties. To achieve optimal results, seeds should be sown in spring or autumn on fertile, well-drained soils with a neutral to slightly acidic reaction (pH 5.5–7.0). The sowing depth is about 1–2 cm, and the seeding rate is 15–25 kg/ha depending on the intended use.
After sowing, regular watering is necessary, especially during dry periods in the first year. Fertilizers are applied before sowing and throughout the growing season: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers are used. Alternating mowing and application of high doses of fertilizers promote intensive growth and maintain a dense cover. This approach guarantees the longevity of the lawn and its ability to withstand heavy loads without loss of quality.
