SHAOLIN

Shaolin is an early-maturing sweet pepper variety, ready for harvest approximately 60 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant features a low-growing, well-branched, compact bush form with medium growth vigor. It produces fruit throughout the summer and until the onset of autumn frosts, ensuring a prolonged harvest period.

Shaolin pepper fruits are cube-shaped or slightly elongated bell-shaped, reaching up to 10 cm in length and 7.5 cm in width. They have thick, fleshy walls and a juicy, crisp texture. Each fruit weighs about 150 grams, and under high humidity conditions, can reach up to 300 grams. The peppers are four-chambered, with dark-orange flesh and skin that changes color during ripening from dark green to bright orange and then to red. Although fruits can be harvested while green, their best flavor develops at the end of the ripening period.

This variety is distinguished by its exceptional sweet taste and high disease resistance, making it attractive for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Due to its qualities and prolonged fruiting, Shaolin pepper is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for various culinary purposes where juiciness and crisp texture are valued.
