Potomak F1

Potomak F1 — a mid-early, bee-pollinated cucumber hybrid with predominantly female flowering. The plant is vigorous, bearing dark green, spiny fruits without bitterness, ensuring high product quality. The vegetative period is 45-50 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short timeframes. Cucumbers are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, especially for pickling and fermentation.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including cladosporiosis, powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose, angular leaf spot, and cucumber mosaic virus. This resistance significantly reduces harvest losses and minimizes the need for frequent application of chemical plant protection products.

Potomak F1 is recommended for cultivation in open ground, both vertically and horizontally. Seeds can be sown directly into the soil or using seedlings, beginning sowing in April at around 25°C to a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm. The hybrid is well-suited for various cultivation methods, making it a versatile choice for gardeners.
