Description Amant F1
Cucumber Amant F1 is an early-maturing, self-pollinating hybrid of the cornichon type, developed for cultivation both in open ground and in polyethylene and glass greenhouses. This hybrid features a robust, open plant capable of forming six to eight or more fruits per node. The vegetation period is 38-43 days, enabling an early and abundant harvest. Amant F1 tolerates low-light conditions, making it ideal for second cropping during the late summer and autumn periods.

The fruits are large, ribbed, cylindrical, uniformly dark green, do not overgrow or yellow. The flesh is dense, free of bitterness, with a small seed cavity and no voids, and the skin is tender. Due to these qualities, cucumber Amant F1 has excellent taste and pickling characteristics, making it an outstanding choice for fresh consumption, pickling, marinating, and cultivation on pickling racks. The fruits exhibit high marketability and excellent transportability.

The hybrid is resistant to a range of adverse factors, including air drought, high temperatures, cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and tolerance to downy mildew. The plant has a strong leaf mass and ability to recover after stress conditions such as water deficiency or extreme temperatures. These qualities make Amant F1 a versatile and reliable choice for various climatic conditions and cultivation methods.
