Shantane Royal

High-yielding early-maturing type Shantané variety. Roots 14–16 cm long, 5–7 cm in diameter, conical shape, smooth surface, somewhat blunt tip, small core, wide base. Very intense orange color both inside and out, even at early ripening stages. Leaves are tall, about 60 cm, strong and healthy, dark green. Roots are fully buried in soil. The variety is distinguished by excellent taste and tolerance to splitting and cracking, suitable for processing, canning, and freezing. Stores well when sown in summer. Ripens on average 98–102 days after sowing.
