Zorepad

Zorepad is a technical flax variety distinguished by its high content of linolenic acid in oil — over 70%. Plants reach a height of 54-60 cm, the 1000-seed mass is 7.5-8.0 g, and the oil content in seeds reaches 48-50%. The potential yield of this variety is 2.0-2.5 tons per hectare. This variety is resistant to lodging and shattering, making it suitable for mechanized cultivation and facilitating harvest collection. Recommended for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine. Flax as a crop has significant potential for farmers due to its adaptability to weather conditions and moisture. Its branched root system allows plants to withstand drought, and seeds do not shatter, simplifying harvest. Flax is widely used in the textile industry, pharmaceuticals, oil production, and as a valuable food additive. High potential yield, low seeding rate, uniform germination, and flexibility in crop rotation make it an advantageous choice for cultivation. The Zorepad variety is characterized by early maturity and disease resistance, further enhancing its attractiveness to farmers. High seed prices and significant export potential make this variety economically viable. Due to its characteristics and wide range of applications, flax Zorepad is a promising crop for developing Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
