R 0305

R 0305 — universal corn hybrid of simple type, intended for obtaining high-quality grain and silage mass. This hybrid is widely used in agriculture, especially for animal fattening, due to its high yield and quality of feed base. The highest yield potential of R 0305 is demonstrated in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones, where it is adapted to local bioclimatic conditions and capable of steadily yielding high harvests even under stressful growing conditions.

Plants of the hybrid are characterized by a strong stem with a large leaf surface and a pronounced stay green effect, meaning the preservation of green leaf and stem mass during grain harvest maturity. This feature is especially important for silage preparation, as it ensures high-quality feed mass. The hybrid forms elongated ears with a large number of kernels and excellent pollination. The 1000-kernel mass is 335–340 grams, indicating high productivity of the variety.

R 0305 is characterized by high resistance to temperature fluctuations, low spring temperatures, heat, and drought, as well as very high resistance to lodging. Among pathogens, the hybrid is most resistant to helminthosporiosis. It is well adapted to various cultivation technologies, including conventional and intensive methods, and requires quality care, including herbicide application for weed control during early vegetation. The optimal seeding density in areas with sufficient moisture is 60–75 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to the maximum realization of yield potential.
