The vegetation period of the hybrid ranges from 105 to 128 days, and plant height varies between 230-255 cm. The hybrid is distinguished by high yield, reaching 14.3 t/ha on trial plots, confirmed by results in the Zhytomyr region with a yield of 13.3 t/ha.
One of the key features of MV TC 277 is its high resistance to various stress factors. The hybrid exhibits resistance to pests and drought at level 8, as well as excellent resistance to lodging — 9 points. Additionally, it demonstrates good stress tolerance and strong water shedding capacity, making it suitable for cultivation under both adequate and insufficient moisture conditions.
The recommended seeding density at harvest time is 65-70 thousand/ha in areas with adequate moisture and 60-65 thousand/ha in areas with insufficient moisture. The hybrid seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing additional protection for plants during early growth stages. MV TC 277 also exhibits high resistance to low temperatures, expanding its cultivation possibilities under various climatic conditions.
