The herbicide MILANNO is designed for effective elimination of annual and perennial grasses, as well as dominant annual broadleaf weeds in corn crops. The active ingredient of the preparation isnicosulfuron at a concentration of 40 g/l, which ensures high selectivity and efficacy of treatment. MILANNO is applied during the corn growth stage from 4 to 10 leaves, allowing maximum protection of the crop in its early growth stages.
The preparation has a systemic action: it is mainly absorbed by the leaves and transported via both phloem and xylem to the meristematic tissues of the weeds. This ensures rapid cessation of growth in sensitive weeds within 6 hours after application. Within 7-8 days after application, weeds acquire a characteristic reddish tint, and complete death occurs between 7 to 20 days, depending on application rate, weed species, growth stage, and weather conditions.
For optimal results, treatment is recommended at air temperatures between 15 to 25 °C and optimal soil and air humidity. Spraying should be carried out in early morning or evening hours under calm conditions to avoid drift onto adjacent crops. The protective period of MILANNO lasts from 45 to 60 days, providing long-term protection for corn crops against weeds and contributing to increased yields.
