Cannabis «SEYM» variety is a monoecious plant of the species Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa, intended for dual-purpose use. This variety is characterized by a medium growth cycle — about 100 days until the end of flowering and approximately 120 days until full seed maturity. The plant demonstrates medium yield: stems — about 135 centners per hectare, seeds — 3.4 centners per hectare. High fiber content in stems reaches 37%, while long fiber yield is 35%, making the variety attractive for technical use. Seeds contain 31% fat, which is also an important characteristic for industrial application.

The «SEYM» variety is widely distributed and occupies a significant share of industrial hemp arable land in Russia — about 11.7% of the total area. Thanks to its characteristics and stable yield, it is included in the state register for cultivation in various regions of the country. This confirms its adaptability and reliability in an agricultural sense.
