Starch content in the tubers is 16.6–17.5%, ensuring excellent taste and versatility in cooking: suitable for baking, boiling, and making mashed potatoes. The culinary type of the variety is CD, indicating its high nutritional value and good texture after thermal processing.

Plants of the Zolsky variety have medium height and semi-erect leaf type with medium to large green leaves with wavy edges. Flower corolla is white. The variety has high and stable yield: commercial yield ranges from 140 to 227 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 335 centners per hectare. Tubers' marketability reaches 80–92%, and storability is 97%, ensuring long-term storage without quality loss.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its cultivation in a virus-free environment at altitudes up to 2000 meters, achieved through modern selection and seed production technologies used by the company 'Zolsky Potato'.
