Ramenos

Ramenos F1 cabbage is a late hybrid developed by breeders from the Dutch company Hazera. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to various types of soil and climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation in different regions of Ukraine, both in open and protected ground. Ramenos F1 has a well-developed root system, making it resistant to water deficiency and excess, as well as showing high resistance to diseases such as fusarium and thrips infestation. Additionally, the hybrid tolerates heat and sudden weather changes, making it low-maintenance and a reliable choice for farmers.

Plants form compact, round heads with a dense structure and attractive light-green leaf color. The average head weight ranges from 2 to 2.5 kg, with heads uniformly sized, suitable for dense planting with a seeding rate up to 60,000 plants per hectare. Ramenos cabbage has a pleasant sweet taste, making it versatile for use — suitable for fresh consumption as well as for preparing various dishes, including pickling.

The hybrid’s maturity period is 120-125 days, after which the harvest can be stored for a long time — up to 4-5 months — while maintaining its market quality and appearance even during transportation. High yield, resistance to cracking, and long-term storage capability make Ramenos F1 a profitable and practical choice for cultivation both on a commercial scale and in private farms.
