Musketeer F1

Cabbage Musketeer F1 is a late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage with a vegetation period of 130-140 days, developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to adverse growing conditions, including sharp temperature fluctuations, dry climates, and poor soils. Musketeer F1 can be grown both in open ground and under cover, including polyethylene greenhouses, making it suitable for cultivation across all of Ukraine. The plant forms a strong rosette of bright green, waxy leaves, and compact, round heads can reach up to 4 kg.

The hybrid is highly resistant to fungal diseases, particularly Fusarium, as well as pests such as thrips. Cabbage Musketeer F1 is not prone to cracking or splitting at the stem, ensuring good appearance and quality of the harvest. Thanks to its dense, uniform head structure and pleasant slightly sweet taste, this variety is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for preparing various dishes, pickling, and preserving.

One of the significant advantages of this variety is its long storage life — under favorable conditions, fruits retain their external and flavor qualities for up to five months. This makes Musketeer F1 an ideal choice for winter storage and for sale at fresh markets and supermarkets. High plant growth rate and the possibility of sowing seeds directly into the ground without the need for seedlings simplify agronomy and contribute to obtaining stable, high-yielding harvests.
