Agassi F1

Broccoli Agassi F1 is a mid-season hybrid developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. This variety is highly adaptable and can be successfully grown both in open ground and in protected cultivation, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. The vegetation period ranges from 65 to 75 days, allowing harvest during the late summer and autumn. The plant forms a dense, dark green rosette, and the heads weigh between 1.5 and 2.5 kg, possessing an attractive shape and exceptional tender flavor.

Agassi F1 exhibits high stress tolerance: the heads do not suffer from leaf sprouting and do not develop anthocyanin pigmentation, ensuring the maintenance of marketable appearance and product quality. The hybrid withstands heat and transportation well, making it popular for both fresh market and frozen applications. Due to these qualities, broccoli Agassi F1 is widely used in salad mixes and frozen products.

To achieve a steady and continuous harvest, it is recommended to grow the crop using a conveyor method, planting seedlings in several stages with intervals of 7-10 days. The seeding rate is 40-45 thousand plants per hectare. This approach allows efficient use of space and ensures fresh heads over an extended period.
