Iris Oyrotiya – is a Japanese variety of irises, created in the 1970s through the hybridization of Iris-Pelican and Iris-Nutmeg. It is characterized by large, bright-yellow petals with dark-red or black spots along the edges, making the flower particularly noticeable in garden compositions.
The variety is known for its long flowering period and disease resistance, as well as good adaptation to various climatic conditions. Thanks to these properties, Oyrotiya is often used to create bright flowering areas in gardens and dachas where a reliable and beautiful decorative element is required.
For successful cultivation of the Oyrotiya iris, rhizomes should be planted in well-drained soil, ensuring adequate moisture and sunlight. When these conditions are met, the plant roots quickly and grows steadily, bringing joy with its bright flowering.
