PANTERA EC (40g/l) — POST-EMERGENT HERBICIDE FOR CONTROL OF GRASSY WEEDS
Effective control of annual and perennial grassy weeds even in heavily infested fields and at advanced growth stages
Safety for agricultural broadleaf crops
High activity even under adverse climatic conditions
High return on investment
INTRODUCTION
Panthera suppresses annual and perennial weeds on broadleaf crop fields. It is applied after emergence, allowing for selective and precise application, thus ensuring maximum economic efficiency in weed control.
Target crops: sugar beet, flax, potato, and spring rape. In experiments, Panthera was also successfully applied on sunflower, bean, fruit trees, grapes, onion, soybean, tomato, pea, and sweet pepper.
Panthera is a systemic herbicide absorbed by weed leaves and translocated throughout the plant. It rapidly accumulates in shoot and root growth points, where it interferes with lipid synthesis and causes plant death.
First signs of action appear 5-10 days after application, manifesting as yellowing of shoot tips, and weeds die 14-21 days after application. Like other herbicides, Panthera is most effective under favorable growth conditions. However, unlike some other herbicides, Panthera remains active within the plant during adverse weather conditions, leading to weed death upon return to normal growth conditions.
Panthera is rapidly absorbed by the plant, giving it high rainfastness. After drying (usually within 60 minutes), rain or overhead irrigation does not affect its efficacy.
Panthera provides a prolonged protective period against regrowth of perennial grassy weeds from stolons and roots.
