Selective three-component foliar and soil herbicide, applied post-emergence to control annual broadleaf and some grassy weeds in sugar beet, fodder beet, and table beet crops.
Form of the preparation and active ingredients:
Emulsion concentrate containing: fenmedifam, 91 g/l + desmedifam, 71 g/l + etofumezate, 112 g/l
Chemical class:
Phenylcarbamates and benzofurans.
Packaging:
Barrels of 5 liters.
Speed of action:
Visible symptoms of the herbicide appear within 3-4 days. Weed death occurs within 7-10 days.
Mode of action:
Upon penetration into plants, the herbicide disrupts photosynthesis and protein metabolism in weed cells, slows down meristem tissue growth and cell division. High air temperature (up to 25 oC) and intense sunlight enhance its effect.
Properties and advantages:
Broad-spectrum activity against annual broadleaf weeds and some grasses in sugar beet, table beet, and fodder beet crops;
Controls difficult-to-kill weeds in sugar beet crops, such as white goosegrass, cruciferous weeds, shepherd’s purse, and docks (varieties);
No restrictions based on sugar beet growth stages;
High selectivity;
Applications can be performed before row closure to support crop competitiveness;
Unlike conventional tank mixes, all three active ingredients of HORIZON are present in each drop of the working solution;
Contains a plant-oil-based surfactant that improves coverage and prolongs retention on weed leaf surfaces;
Excellent compatibility with other herbicides to enhance control of specific weed groups, thus addressing individual field protection issues;
Convenient formulation for use;
Ecologically safe — active ingredients fully degrade in soil within two months.
Not recommended for tank mixing with organophosphate insecticides.
WHO classification, toxicological characteristics:
Class III (moderately toxic).
Shelf life and storage conditions for the preparation:
Three years in sealed factory packaging at temperatures from +5 oC to +35 oC.
