Characteristics:
Herbicide
Active ingredient:
Dimethenamid-P (720 g/l)
Base unit
5 l
Selective pre-emergence herbicide for controlling annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds. Advantages of the product:
— Widest spectrum of action among soil-applied herbicides for sugar beet;
— Level of effectiveness is weakly dependent on soil moisture;
— Long-lasting protection (allows sugar beet to grow during the first weeks without competition from weeds).
FRONTIER® OPTIMA
Soil-applied herbicide with broad spectrum of activity against monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in field crop crops
Formulation: Emulsion concentrate (EC)
Active ingredient: dimethenamid-P (720 g/l)
ADVANTAGES:
one of the broadest spectrum of action among soil-applied herbicides
kills and suppresses the first wave of weeds for a long time
safe for subsequent crops in crop rotation
SPECTRUM OF ACTION:
Veronica, species; Galinsoga, species; Bindweed; Field mustard; Medicinal smoke; Starwort; Theophrastus' knotgrass; Cress, species; Common hawkweed; Field bindweed; Field violet; Self-sown poppy; Species of marjoram; Species of milkweed; Annual ryegrass; Field forget-me-not; Field oats; Field poppy; Species of nightshade; Common bladderwort; Sticky valerian; Garden purslane; Japanese millet; Species of chamomile; Species of thistle; Purple nettle;
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Dimethenamid is absorbed by the roots of germinating weeds and leads to their death. Young weeds that have already germinated at the time of application also die.
The use of the product is permitted in sanitary zones of fishery water bodies. 4th class of danger — practically non-toxic to bees pesticides.
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS:
Treatment should be carried out before or after sowing the crop.
The product shows maximum efficiency when applied pre-sowing and incorporated shallowly (2-3 cm).
Incorporation is necessary even in case of drought.
Minimization of chemical stress for the treated crop during protection of sugar beet seedlings from weeds (anti-stress protection system) — this is an undeniable advantage of applying the herbicide PYRAMIDtmTURBO before emergence in tank mix with the product FRONTIER® OPTIMA or after emergence with a partner herbicide.
Dosage rates when treating sugar beet with tank mix: 1.1-1.2 l/ha FRONTIER® OPTIMA + 2.0 l/ha PYRAMIDtmTURBO.
When sowing soybeans early for early weed control: FRONTIER® OPTIMA 1.2 l/ha (soil-applied pre-emergence, allows suppression of germinating weeds) and BAZAGRAN® 2.0 l/ha (post-emergence)
PREPARATION OF TANK MIX WITH PYRAMIDtmTURBO:
Fill the sprayer tank with water and turn on the mixer to 1/3. First, stir PYRAMIDtmTURBO and pour the required amount of the product into the tank. The working solution must be continuously mixed. Add water to the tank until it is filled slightly more than 1/2. Slowly add the required amount of FRONTIER® OPTIMA. Bring the volume of the working solution to the required level and turn the mixer on again. The prepared working solution should be used immediately after preparation.
