Furoré ® Super — highly effective post-emergence herbicide for selective control of broadleaf crops. It exhibits very gentle action, enabling targeted eradication of grassy weeds, avoiding pre-emergence soil-applied herbicides whose efficacy often depends on soil moisture during germination. Application timing is independent of crop growth stage and is synchronized exclusively with weed development stage.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The active ingredient — fenoxaprop-P-ethyl — belongs to the aryloxy phenoxypropionate class. It is absorbed only through leaves of weeds, where it rapidly translocates to the growing points at the base of the stem and inhibits fatty acid synthesis by blocking acetyl-coenzyme A. Within a few hours, weed growth ceases, the growing point turns brown, dies off within 4-5 days, and can be easily removed along with the stem. Complete weed death occurs within 10-20 days.
Since the product acts on the growing point, it is most effective and rapid during active weed vegetative growth. Its action may be slowed if weeds are under stress, such as drought, frost, inter-row treatments, or prior application of soil-applied herbicides.
SPECTRUM OF ACTION
Furoré ® Super is effective against most annual grassy weeds, as well as some perennial weeds.
APPLICATION
Sugar beet, TABLE, FEED, CARROT, Sunflower, cabbage (medium and late-maturing varieties), onion of all generations
Application rate: 0.8–2.0 L/ha
RAPES
Application rate: 0.8–1.2 L/ha
Best results are observed when applied from the 2-leaf stage to the rosette stage of weeds.
If applied later, maximum rates should be used.
COMPATIBILITY
Furoré ® Super mixes well with many herbicides, especially with Betanal ® Expert. Do not mix with Torel ®.
Selectivity
Furoré ® Super is selective for all broadleaf crops at the indicated rates and is used in many countries worldwide.
ADVANTAGES
High herbicidal activity.
Flexibility in application due to extended spraying periods.
High selectivity ensures no phytotoxicity to broadleaf crop plants recommended for use, regardless of their growth stage.
Rapid action on sensitive weeds.
Good compatibility with other herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, reducing the number of treatments needed.
