Mriya

The hemp variety Mriya (Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa) is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and is intended for cultivation in all regions of the country. This southern monoecious variety is characterized by medium stem length and green leaf color. Plants reach a height of 200–250 cm, with a vegetative period of 106 days until flowering ends and 121 days until full seed maturity. The weight of 1000 seeds varies from 13 to 17 grams, with seeds exhibiting mosaic variability. The content of the main narcotic substance (THC) is low — 0.02–0.03%, making the variety safe for industrial use.

Mriya is intended for dual use — fiber and seeds. The yield of stems reaches 110.6 centners per hectare, with fiber content at 26.3% and long fiber yield at 19.0%. The tensile strength of the fiber is 26.3 kgf, indicating high-quality raw material. The seed yield is 13.5 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching 31.8%. These indicators make the variety attractive for agricultural production, particularly in the Krasnodar Krai and central regions of Russia.

The variety is resistant to diseases and suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Due to its characteristics, Mriya is widely used in industrial agriculture for obtaining high-quality fiber and seeds. The plant requires standard agronomic care and provides a stable yield when recommended cultivation conditions are followed.
