Hemp variety MILENA represents high-quality raw material intended for oilseed production and use in fishing. This variety is characterized by medium-Russian origin, monoecious plants, and the absence of seed mosaic. The plant has a short yellow-green stem and medium intensity of leaf green coloration. Seed yield reaches 15.1 centners per hectare, with fat content in seeds at 38%, and the mass of 1000 seeds equal to 16.3 grams. The vegetative period to full seed maturity is about 110 days, and the variety is resistant to diseases.
For fishing purposes, pressed and ground hemp is used, made from premium quality seeds that have undergone special heat treatment. Such treatment preserves the nutritional properties and product aroma, as well as ensures long-term storage thanks to antioxidant processing. Ground hemp has a loose structure, rich aroma, nutrition, and oiliness, which facilitates easy assimilation and enhances the aroma of baits upon addition.
Additionally, hemp is produced in canned form from ground grains that undergo special thermal treatment for maximum preservation of beneficial properties and aroma. This product is fully ready for use both independently and in combination with boilies, pellets, and other mixes. Canned hemp is particularly effective for catching fish in cold water or when fish activity is low, recommended for initial baiting followed by the addition of whole grains. The shelf life of canned hemp is up to three years at a temperature from 0 to 25 degrees Celsius.
