Description Alpha-Pyrad
Herbicide No. 1 for eradication of weeds and their varieties. Does not form resistant forms with prolonged use. Visual signs of the product's action appear within 4-7 days, complete weed death occurs within 10-15 days. Has broad selectivity towards crop plants, ensuring its use in protecting many crops belonging to different taxonomic groups, such as cereal grasses, corn, sugar beet, rape, flax, onion, etc. Compatible in tank mixes with various fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides. Ideal component with synergistic effect for tank mixes with other herbicides against broadleaf weeds (compounds based on fenmedifam and desmedifam), as well as against grassy weeds (compatibility should be checked). However, for greater efficiency when using minimum application rates, it is recommended to apply the product separately rather than in tank mixes.
Advantages:
• Rapid action on weeds.
• High systemic activity of the herbicide allows it to penetrate through leaves and be transported to growth points of roots and rootstocks.
• Destroys above-ground and root systems.
• Cleans fields of weeds due to exceptional effect on weed species throughout all growth stages.
• Rainfall within 2 hours does not affect the product's efficacy.
Mode of action:
Alpha-Pyrad, due to its systemic action, easily penetrates the plant primarily through leaves (but also through roots), rapidly spreads throughout the entire plant, including the root system, blocks meristematic tissue growth points, halts weed growth, and subsequently causes their complete death.
General recommendations:
Alpha-Pyrad is effective during the active growth period of weeds within the optimal temperature range of 10 to 25° C. Optimal treatment phase for mustard plants — 2-4 leaves. Weed and lettuce are most sensitive to the product during rosette phase — beginning of stem growth.
