Medium-early maturing variety, obtained at Novosibirsk ZPЯOS in 1952 by selection among seedlings from open pollination of the 'Red Cross' variety. Breeders: D.A. Andreichenko, I.V. Shpileva, A.I. Degtyareva. Since 1987, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Middle Volga, Ural, Western and Eastern Siberian regions.
Strong-growing (up to 1.5 m), semi-umbrella-shaped bush. Medium-thick stems, straight, orange-brown, brownish and matte by autumn, with bluish-green growing tips.
Five-lobed leaves, medium-sized, light green.
Berries large (up to 0.7 g), red, tart-sweet, good flavor (4.2 points), clustered in long clusters (up to 8.0 cm). Chemical composition of berries: soluble dry matter — 11.7%, total sugars — 6.8%, titratable acidity — 1.7%, ascorbic acid — 40.9 mg/100 g, catechins — 550.9 mg/100 g.
Yield 8.1 t/ha at planting scheme 3 x 1 m. High winter hardiness. Affected by anthracnose up to 2.0 points.
Advantages of the variety: high yield, early fruiting.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient resistance to anthracnose.
