Description ASORA
Red currant of the Asora variety is a productive late-ripening variety, the harvest of which is collected from the first decade of August. The bush is medium-sized, reaching a height of about 100 cm, with a wide spreading crown and light-gray straight shoots. Leaves are large, dark green with a glossy surface, which gives the plant high decorative value. Berries are large, round in shape, light-red in color, with a thin skin and tender flesh possessing a pleasant sour-sweet taste, which received a tasting score of 4 points. The average berry weight is from 0.8 to 2 grams, and the clusters are of medium length and dense. The vitamin C content in berries reaches 45 mg%, which makes them beneficial for health.

The Asora variety is distinguished by high yield and universal purpose, which allows using berries both for fresh consumption and for processing. Thanks to high frost resistance and resistance to powdery mildew, the plant withstands unfavorable climatic conditions well, including drought. These qualities make the variety especially attractive for commercial growing and transportation, while maintaining the market appearance and taste qualities of the berries.

Care for Asora bushes does not require special efforts, which facilitates growing even in conditions of limited time and resources. High resistance to diseases and unfavorable factors, as well as the decorative appearance of the bush, make this variety popular among gardeners and farmers. Asora combines excellent taste characteristics, useful properties, and reliability, which makes it a profitable choice for growing red currant.
