OVATONNA

Ovatonna F1 corn represents an early universal hybrid of super-sweet corn of the SH2 type, developed by the French seed company Clause. The maturation period is about 70-73 days from mass seedling emergence, allowing for a harvest in a short time. Plants reach a height of 200-205 cm, possess abundant foliage that effectively protects fruits from external factors and pests. Ears form at a height of 50-60 cm, usually 1-2 per plant, have a cylindrical shape with a length of 21-24 cm and a diameter of 5-5.5 cm. Kernels are large, yellow, shiny, arranged in neat rows — from 18 to 24, which ensures an attractive commercial appearance and high product quality. The hybrid is characterized by high productivity and resistance to a wide range of diseases, as well as stress tolerance, which allows growing it in various agro-climatic conditions, including all climatic zones of Ukraine.
