SAPSAN — this is an early-maturing cucumber hybrid, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The plant is indeterminate, medium-branched, with predominantly female flowering, ensuring stable fruit formation. The cucumbers have an oval-cylindrical shape, medium length from 9 to 14 cm, and weight from 65 to 109 g. Their surface is large-warty with dense white pubescence, and color is dark green with characteristic medium stripes. The flesh is dense, white, and free of bitterness, making the fruits ideal for salads and canning. The first harvest is possible as early as 35-40 days after germination, enabling early yield. The plant is strong-growing with a main stem length of 180-200 cm and medium vine vigor. The hybrid is characterized by even fruiting and a prolonged fruiting period, ensuring stable production throughout the season. Maximum yield reaches 876 centners per hectare, and under high infection pressure — 35-50 tons per hectare. SAPSAN exhibits good resistance to major cucumber diseases, including powdery mildew and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV-1), as well as moderate resistance to downy mildew. These qualities make the hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions.
