F1 Zozulya was introduced at the Vegetable Experimental Station named after V. I. Edelstein of the Russian State Agrarian University. It was regionalized in 1977. The hybrid's authors are employees of LLC 'Selective and Seed Company "Manul". A popular parthenocarpic hybrid predominantly of female or female type flowering. Intended for cultivation in spring greenhouses and tunnels. Characterized by uniform, heavy, and prolonged yield. Begins fruiting on day 40-45 after emergence. Medium branching. Cucumbers are warty, white-stemmed, 14-22 cm long, weighing 150-250 grams, with white, complex, sparse hairs. Fruits are for salad use, do not yellow, and retain their market appearance for a long time. The hybrid is relatively cold-tolerant and possesses wide ecological plasticity. Resistant to olive spot disease, ordinary cucumber mosaic virus, and tolerant to root rot.
