ZP 200

The hybrid corn ZP 200 is a medium-early simple hybrid with FAO 280-290, intended for grain and silage production. Plants are tall, reaching 260-300 cm in height, with erectoid leaf type and cream-colored, toothed yellow-orange kernels. Ears are 20-25 cm long and 4-5 cm in diameter, attached at a height of 100-120 cm. The hybrid features strong and well-balanced vegetative mass, contributing to high yield potential up to 15 t/ha (150 c/ha). Initial growth rates of ZP 200 are high, and the time to full flowering is medium, ensuring optimal conditions for yield formation. ZP 200 exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and gray leaf spot, as well as lodging. The hybrid demonstrates high cold and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including forest-steppe and steppe regions. Regrowth capacity of the plant is very good, contributing to repeated sprouting and increased overall productivity. Recommended planting density at harvest is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare in forest-steppe regions and 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in steppe zones. Morphological characteristics of the hybrid include weak anthocyanic coloring of the first leaf sheath and roots, rounded-blunt leaf tip, and medium angle between leaf blade and stem. Flowering panicle is early-medium, with long main axis and medium spikelet density. Ear is cylindrical, medium length and thickness, with yellow kernel color. Vegetative period is approximately 119 days. The hybrid is moderately susceptible to stalk rot and corn borer, but resistant to ear fusarium, further enhancing its reliability and yield stability.
