RAM 10334

RAM 10334 is a three-line hybrid of early-maturing corn (FAO 180), developed by LLC Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Business and registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2016. The hybrid is designed for dual use — for grain and silage — making it a versatile solution for various agricultural tasks. It is characterized by high productivity and stability, adapted to different climatic conditions, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Potential yields are approximately 110 c/ha for grain and 570–600 c/ha for silage. A key feature of the hybrid is its high rate of moisture loss in the late stages of vegetation, which contributes to time and resource savings during harvest. Morpho-biological characteristics of RAM 10334 include plant height ranging from 2.50 to 2.80 m, 15–16 leaves per stem, and ear attachment height of 75–80 cm. The ear has a conical-cylindrical shape, 25–27 cm long, with 12–14 rows of kernels and 35–40 kernels per row. The kernels are dent-shaped, orange-yellow in color, with a thousand-kernel weight of 260–280 g and a grain yield of 81%. The corn grain contains 72.3% starch and 8.7% protein. The hybrid is not prone to lodging and does not show sensitivity to pests, diseases, or drought, confirming its high resistance and reliability under various growing conditions. RAM 10334 is characterized by its adaptability and resistance to stress factors, including cold and drought. It has a strong root system and responds well to improved agronomic conditions. The hybrid does not bush out, has white or red stem color, and features dry husks at maturity, facilitating harvest. Recommended planting density varies depending on purpose: for silage — 95–105 thousand plants per hectare, for grain — 65–70 thousand plants per hectare. High remontancy and yield stability make RAM 10334 an attractive choice for farmers seeking high-quality and abundant corn harvests.
