Prestig F1 is an early-maturing yellow corn hybrid that matures in approximately 77-78 days after planting. The plants are tall, reaching 150-180 cm in height, with strong stems resistant to lodging. The ears are large, about 31 cm long and weighing 370-400 grams, uniform and densely filled with kernels that have a golden-yellow color, shiny surface, and tender, sweet flesh. The kernels are arranged in 12-14 rows, ensuring high density and an attractive appearance. This hybrid adapts well to various weather conditions and is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. For successful cultivation of Prestig F1, select fertile, loose, well-drained soils with neutral to slightly alkaline reaction (pH 7.0–7.5). It is important that the groundwater level does not exceed 2.5 meters from the surface. Before planting, thoroughly prepare the soil by applying organic and mineral fertilizers such as manure, compost, superphosphate, potassium sulfate, wood ash, and dolomitic flour. Seeds should be soaked and germinated using a growth stimulator to improve germination. Plant in a sunny, wind-protected location, maintaining optimal spacing between plants and rows. Care includes regular fertilization, watering, soil loosening, and removal of side shoots to promote main stem development. Harvesting Prestig F1 can occur at the milk stage, when kernels are juicy, sweet, and golden-cream-colored, making them ideal for fresh consumption and canning. In northern regions, it is recommended to harvest at this stage, whereas biological maturity is primarily achieved in southern regions.
