Pardi

Pardi is a mid-season, simple hybrid with FAO 270, intended for grain and silage use. This versatile hybrid features high drought tolerance and resistance to major diseases such as helminthosporium, fusarium, and rust, as well as high lodging resistance. Plants reach a height of approximately 210 cm, with ear attachment at 110 cm. The kernel type is siliceous-toothed, which contributes to increased starch content in the grain.

The potential yield of Pardi corn reaches up to 19.0 tons per hectare, with average yields over test years reaching 13.5 tons per hectare. The ear structure features 16 rows of kernels with 38 kernels per row. Recommended plant population at harvest varies by region: 75-80 thousand plants per hectare in the Polissia region, 65-75 thousand in the Forest Steppe, and 55-60 thousand in the Steppe.

Pardi corn seeds are coated with special compounds including the fungicides fludioxonil and metalaxyl-M, microfertilizers, and growth stimulators, and are covered with a polymer dye for protection and improved germination. Seeds are packaged in three-layer paper bags per sowing area, ensuring convenient storage and transportation. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polissia, due to its adaptability and versatility.
