Maize OSTINATI

Reliable grain yields with the Ostinati hybrid

In intensive farming, where every percentage of grain moisture at harvest is critical for farm economics, the Ostinati corn hybrid from Monsanto has established itself as an essential tool for high-quality grain production with minimized drying costs. This single-cross hybrid of American origin is specifically designed to maximize grain output.

Practical application and agronomy

• Logistics Optimization: Consistent FAO ratings allow agronomists to plan harvest schedules with precision. Ostinati is the preferred choice for farms that require a predictable harvest window to avoid losses caused by over-ripening or excess moisture.
• Intensive Cultivation: Ostinati reaches its full yield potential in fertile soils when adhering to the planting densities recommended by Monsanto. The hybrid responds exceptionally well to nitrogen fertilizer applications, making it ideal for farms with robust nutrient management systems.
• Stress Tolerance: The American genetics behind this hybrid provide superior adaptability to temperature fluctuations during the growing season. This significantly lowers the risk of yield drag during late spring cold snaps or mid-summer droughts.

Practical field experience confirms that Ostinati offers unmatched consistency. It is well-suited for crop rotations where corn occupies significant acreage that requires uniform maturity and high machine efficiency during threshing. The single-cross nature of this hybrid ensures exceptional plant uniformity, which simplifies combine harvester settings and reduces grain loss during harvesting operations.
