Description Krasnodarsky 294 AMV
Corn hybrid Krasnodarsky 294 AMV is a medium-early first-generation hybrid with a vegetation period of about 108 days (FAO 290). The plant is tall with wide, medium-width leaves. The ear is long, cylindrical, medium-thick, with a short stalk and medium number of rows of kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped, colored in yellow-orange shades both at the top and bottom.

The hybrid is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and is suitable for both grain and silage purposes. In field conditions, the plant demonstrates medium resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and stalk rot, as well as medium susceptibility to the corn borer. The grain moisture at harvest is approximately 24.2%, and the dry matter content is 39.1%, meeting standard levels.

The average yield of the hybrid Krasnodarsky 294 AMV in the region reaches 60.9 centners per hectare, which is 3.4% higher than the standard level. Maximum grain yield records were registered in 2013, reaching 118.2 and 127.6 centners per hectare on various experimental plots in the Stavropol Krai. High yield of normalized dry matter — up to 228.1 centners per hectare — was achieved in 2014 in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic. These characteristics make this hybrid attractive to farmers aiming for stable and high yields.
