The Hyperborey corn hybrid belongs to the FAO maturity group 180 and is intended for grain and feed use. It is characterized by high resistance to Helminthosporium and lodging, as well as cold, heat, and drought tolerance. The ear contains 14-16 rows of kernels and measures 18-20 cm in length, ensuring good yield and feed quality. The sum of active temperatures for flowering is approximately 800°C, for silage maturity — 1400-1410°C, and for grain maturity — 1600-1610°C, enabling the hybrid to successfully develop under various climatic conditions.
The Hyperborey hybrid was developed in accordance with modern agrotechnologies and adapted to enhance resistance to stress factors such as drought, high temperatures, pests, and diseases. This makes it a reliable choice for farmers aiming for stable yields and reduced risk of losses. The recommended seeding rate is 100-115 thousand seeds per hectare for silage production and 100 thousand seeds per hectare for grain production, optimizing seed usage and promoting efficient plant development.
The variety was registered in 2024 and is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, and Tambov regions. The developer of the hybrid is the company LLC "Miratorg-Kursk", confirming its quality and compliance with modern agricultural requirements. The Hyperborey hybrid contributes to increasing the share of domestic seeds in the domestic market and supports the development of the Russian agro-industrial complex.
