HOPER 200 MV

Corn HOPER 200 MV is a medium-early simple hybrid developed by the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Irrigated Agriculture". This variety is intended for universal use, including grain and silage production, and is recommended for various agroclimatic zones such as the Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, Lower Volga, as well as the Polesie, Steppe, and Forest-Steppe regions. The hybrid has a patent and is characterized by stable yields, high profitability, and adaptability to various growing conditions.

Corn plants of HOPER 200 MV reach a height of 250-270 cm, do not bush, and exhibit high resistance to lodging and stem breakage. The vegetation period varies from 92 to 103 days depending on the region, ensuring medium-early maturity. Tassel flowering and silk emergence occur early, promoting timely crop formation. The kernels are cream-colored with yellow-orange coloring on the upper and lower parts, weighing 290-300 g per 1000 kernels. Anthocyanin pigment intensity in the cob stem is medium-strong.

The hybrid demonstrates high yield potential: the potential grain yield reaches 12.0-12.5 t/ha, average yield in the Middle Volga region is 64.6 c/ha, maximum is 96.4 c/ha, and in the Lower Volga region, average yield is 45.5 c/ha, maximum is 81.9 c/ha. Pre-harvest grain moisture varies from 20% to 27.1%. Corn HOPER 200 MV is distinguished by high drought resistance, resistance to major diseases, and lodging resistance, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality harvest.
