Sowing and Management Recommendations

• Timing and Soil: Optimal sowing should occur when soil temperatures at the seeding depth reach +10...+12°C. The hybrid shows vigorous leaf development from early stages, making starter phosphorus application essential for establishing a robust root system.
• Plant Density: Considering the average plant height, the recommended planting pattern should avoid over-thickening, which could lead to light competition. The optimal density for the Polissya zone is 65,000–75,000 plants per hectare, depending on moisture availability.
• Growth Stages: Weed control is critical during the 3–5 leaf stage. Due to strong anthocyanin coloration of the aerial roots, the hybrid exhibits good lodging resistance.
