DL 26 X LIMLAV 75 is an early super-sweet hybrid corn of the Sh-2 type, maturing in 75–78 days after emergence. The plants are robust and well-developed, reaching a height of 180–190 cm. Each plant forms two full, cylindrical ears, 24–27 cm long and about 5 cm in diameter, with 16–18 evenly arranged rows of bright yellow kernels. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and marketability, as well as exceptional taste due to its high sugar content — over 10–12%. Yield is 1.5–2.0 kg per square meter. The ears of this hybrid can be stored longer compared to other varieties, making it convenient for long-term storage and marketing.
The main purpose of this hybrid is to produce early fresh vegetable market products, as well as for freezing and processing. To ensure a continuous production line, it is recommended to sow seeds in several staggered dates. For planting, it is important to wait until soil temperature reaches at least 10°C, as early or late sowing significantly reduces yield. The optimal sowing depth is 4–5 cm, and the minimum spacing between plants in a row is 20–25 cm. The recommended planting scheme is 70 x 20 cm or 75 x 25 cm. For uniform emergence, seeds should be sown into moist soil, and light watering may be applied after sowing.
For high-quality produce, ears and kernels should be harvested at the milk stage. Storage of ears requires good ventilation and low temperatures, as sugar loss directly depends on storage time and temperature. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, contributing to stable yield and product quality.
