The hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to common corn diseases, including resistance to Fusarium, Helminthosporium, and smut, as well as good drought and lodging resistance.

DKC4238 belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a FAO of approximately 250-330, has dent-type kernels with a carrot-like hue and 1000-kernel weight ranging from 310-440 grams. Plant height reaches 210-250 cm, ear attachment height is 90-100 cm, with ear rows ranging from 12 to 16 and kernels per row 35-42, yielding a total kernel count per ear from 460 to 570. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various zones and technologies, including monoculture, with options for traditional and minimal soil tillage.

Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture levels: 70-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 55-70 thousand under limited moisture.
