The hybrid corn DKC3452 stands out for its high yield and grain quality, making it attractive for intensive agricultural production. The plant, of a remontant type, features a powerful root system and a well-leafed stem reaching 260-270 cm in height, ensuring resistance to lodging and damage. The ear is positioned at about 110 cm and contains 16-20 rows of kernels, with 37 to 42 kernels per row, totaling 620-740 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 280 to 350 grams, and starch content exceeds 72%, indicating high grain quality.
The hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptation to various soil-climate conditions, including the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. It tolerates low temperatures and exhibits high drought resistance, especially during flowering. DKC3452 shows high tolerance to common corn diseases such as corn smut and Fusarium stalk and ear rot, as well as resistance to root and stalk lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in monoculture or under traditional or minimal tillage. The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: 50,000-60,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 70,000-75,000 in drier areas. Due to its rapid moisture release at maturity, DKC3452 is suitable for silage use, as well as for bioethanol and biogas production, expanding its application potential within the agro-industrial complex.
