The CUNEO P 920 Mulcher is professional equipment designed for effective chopping of crop residues from various agricultural crops such as corn, sunflower, cereal stubble, rapeseed, soybeans, as well as tall grasses and shrubs on abandoned and unworked land. It can process vegetation up to 5 cm in diameter, ensuring uniform and high-quality chopping of both grasses and young shrubs. Thanks to its wide cutting zone, the mulcher is suitable for large-scale operations, significantly increasing agricultural productivity.
The mulcher is attached to a tractor via a rear three-point hitch mounted symmetrically along the tractor's longitudinal axis. For stability and rotor protection when operating on uneven surfaces, the unit is equipped with six support wheels and adjustable protective skids that prevent damage upon contact with the ground. For convenient transport on public roads, the mulcher can be converted into transport position using two hydraulic cylinders controlled from the tractor's cab, and a hydraulic lock ensures safety during transport.
The rotor drive is achieved through a complex transmission: torque from the driveshaft is transmitted to a central reducer with two output shafts, then via intermediate driveshafts to belt drives on both sides of the mulcher. The reducer is equipped with a freewheel clutch and is designed to operate at 1000 rpm. For various tasks, interchangeable working tools are available: hammers for heavy-duty work and Y-shaped blades for chopping soft plant residues. Standard equipment includes a driveshaft, working tools, support wheels, protective skids, automatic belt tensioner, and a three-point hitch compatible with II and III category tractors. The mulcher's construction is characterized by strength and rigidity, ensuring reliability and durability in operation.
