Maize Bershady

Field Performance: A Reliable Choice

"Bershad" is a classic corn variety developed by the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agriculture of NAAS." For operators and farm managers, this variety represents a low-risk, high-consistency tool. Unlike intensive hybrids that demand perfect precision, Bershad is remarkably forgiving, adapting well to the diverse soil and climate conditions found across Ukraine.

Versatile Application

The primary advantage of this variety is its dual-purpose nature: it performs equally well for grain production and silage. This flexibility allows you to adjust your harvest strategy based on current feed requirements or market prices. From an equipment perspective, the stalks are robust, offering excellent resistance to lodging, which significantly simplifies the mechanical harvesting process.

Operational Insights

• Planting: Shows strong emergence even when temperatures fluctuate, reducing the need for reseeding.
• Maintenance: Highly responsive to standard tillage and cultivation practices. The variety does not require excessive chemical inputs to reach its potential.
• Harvest Efficiency: Consistent moisture release rates in the grain help keep fuel and energy costs low during post-harvest drying.

If you are looking for a variety that provides stable yields without the maintenance overhead of "fussy" high-tech hybrids, Bershad is a proven, cost-effective solution for your operation.
