Maize CORN 429

Consistent performance for professional growers

When selecting seed for commercial grain production, predictability is the most critical factor. The KUB 429 hybrid from NPO Kos-Mais is designed for those who employ intensive farming practices and expect maximum efficiency from their acreage. In real-world field trials, this hybrid demonstrates excellent early vigor and strong adaptability to various soil types, simplifying the planning of agronomic operations.

Multi-purpose utility

• Grain Production: High grain density and well-filled ears ensure consistent yields per hectare.
• Food Industry: The hybrid meets stringent processing standards, making it a reliable raw material.
• Biofuels: The high energy content of the grain makes it an attractive choice for bioethanol production facilities.

For farm managers, the KUB 429 is remarkably low-maintenance. The breeding work led by Vitaly Grigoryevich Garkushka emphasizes natural resistance to common pathogens, allowing for reduced fungicide applications without sacrificing harvest quality. Harvesting is efficient and low-stress; the ears remain securely attached to the stalks but thrash easily, which minimizes field losses during combine operations.

Economic viability

If you are looking for the right balance between seed investment and final profit margins, KUB 429 is a rational choice. NPO Kos-Mais has prioritized technological efficiency: the hybrid responds well to fertilization and requires minimal attention after the flowering stage. It is a case where the genetic potential of the crop directly serves your business, providing a path to predictable and stable profitability.
