Chrysanthemum ANTON CHEKHOV

The "Anton Chekhov" chrysanthemum variety is a tall upright plant, 100-110 cm high, with medium foliage and fast growth. The leaves are green and smooth, while the flowering stem is sturdy, ensuring flower stability. Each plant forms 40 to 50 inflorescences, with 15-17 inflorescences on each flowering stem. The inflorescences are semi-double, 7-9 cm in diameter, with purple ray florets and yellow tubular disc florets creating an attractive contrast. The flower aroma is moderate, making them pleasant to perceive.

Flowering begins on October 20, reaching its mass peak by October 28 and lasting about 25 days. The flower color is resistant to sun fading, maintaining its brightness and saturation throughout the flowering period. The plant has medium winter hardiness, drought resistance, and heat tolerance, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions, especially in protected ground in Russia's subtropics. The variety is distinguished by good resistance to adverse weather conditions.

The "Anton Chekhov" chrysanthemum is recommended for cut flower production due to high productivity: 3-4 cut flowers can be obtained from one bush, which maintain freshness for up to 12 days. These characteristics make the variety attractive for commercial cultivation and use for decorative purposes.
