LILAC FOG

The 'Lilac Fog' tomato variety is a medium-early indeterminate type with a vegetative period of about 110-125 days. The plant reaches a height of 120 to 150 centimeters, forming multi-fruit clusters with round fruits weighing from 50 to 80 grams. The variety's feature is the unusual fruit coloration: the upper part has a dark purple or black with a purple sheen color, while the lower part has a red coloration, which is due to the high content of natural anthocyanin pigments. The inner flesh is red-pink, dense and fleshy, with a thin fruity aroma and a pleasant combination of sweetness and acidity. 'Lilac Fog' tomatoes are distinguished by a high content of vitamin C and antioxidants, making them not only tasty but also healthy. Sugar content is about 5%, and dry matter is approximately 6%. The fruits are resistant to cracking and over-ripening, which facilitates their storage and transportation. The yield of the variety is average, but thanks to the decorative coloring and taste qualities, these tomatoes are often grown to decorate and surprise guests. They are versatile in application, suitable both for fresh consumption and canning. For cultivation, seeds are recommended to be sown to a depth of 1-1.5 cm, at which point the plant responds well to feeding and is suitable for various climatic conditions.
