Cabbage of the SPRINT variety is an early-maturing hybrid intended for fresh consumption in June-July. Technical maturity of heads occurs 50-60 days after seedling transplanting, allowing for harvest in a short period. Heads have an oval shape, dense structure, and a mass ranging from 0.9 to 1.6 kg, with a small inner stalk. A distinguishing feature of the variety is synchronized ripening and high resistance to cracking, which ensures the preservation of the harvest and its attractive appearance.
The plant is characterized by an elevated rosette of leaves, which have a green color with a slight waxy bloom, as well as weak blistering and waviness along the edge. Cabbage adapts well to various light conditions and soils, preferring low-lying peat-swampy soils, but requires moderate moisture, as it reacts negatively to excessive water. Sowing seeds is recommended between March 15 and 25, and transplanting seedlings between April 20 and May 5, with an optimal planting scheme of 70 x 30-35 cm.
The SPRINT hybrid is distinguished by high yield, reaching 54-67 tons per hectare, and excellent taste qualities. Due to its agronomic and biological characteristics, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation both on an industrial scale and in private holdings, providing a stable and quality harvest of early cabbage.
